My name is Sana Ashraf

Welcome to my portfolio! I’m a creative individual with a unique zest for everything I do. I hold a bachelor's degree in Accessory Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and have extensive experience in Visual Merchandising and Graphic Design. With a knack for conceptualizing the most creative solutions, I bring a blend of innovation and practicality to every project.

My career has been diverse, including roles at renowned organizations like IKEA, Mahindra Retail, and Konsult Art. I have also taught art to children and adults, developed portfolios for students aiming for top universities worldwide, and honed my skills in guidance and counselling.

After a fulfilling maternity break, I am excited to return to the professional sphere with fresh perspectives and renewed energy. Currently, I am exploring career opportunities in Dubai/Abu Dhabi that will allow me to leverage my creative skills while embracing new challenges.

Visual Merchandising

I have honed my skills in crafting compelling visual displays at IKEA and Mahindra Retail, elevating brand visibility and enriching customer experiences. My work blends creativity with strategic design to create impactful retail environments that resonate with diverse audiences.

Branding & Media

I've collaborated on branding projects such as Bubster Play and Konsult Education, creating eye-catching logos, print media, and engaging social media posts that resonate with target audiences and reinforce brand identity.

Art & Design Teaching

I've mentored aspiring artists at Konsult Art and Design Academy, specializing in portfolio development for university admissions. My approach fosters creativity and technical skill, empowering students to express themselves confidently through art and design.

Presenting surprising home furnishing solutions that surpassed the needs and dreams of our customers, is and was Sana’s creative advantage, I hired her for the role of Visual Merchandising co-worker in the IKEA PLANING STUDIO in Kuwait. I had seen her flourish and her confidence grow over the previous 2 years as the VM-Co-worker in the IKEA STORE in Kuwait and this continued throughout the year she worked in the IKEA Planning Studio.

Sana has a great ability in coordinating (the IKEA range), a deep understanding of LIFE @ HOME in the local market and she is always striving to challenge herself to be better. This all wrapped up with her positive bubbly personality, meant everyone enjoyed working with her, as she could always find the solution!
